35 Bites Challenge Terms & Conditions
The Pizza Hut Malaysia “35 Bites Challenge” Contest (“Contest”) is organized by Pizza Hut Restaurants Sdn Bhd (“Organizer”) at Level 7, Tower 1, VSquare @ PJ City Center, Jalan Utara, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Duration
1.0 Duration
1.1 This Contest commence at 11.00am, 2 May 2017 and ends at 11.59pm, 13 June 2017. (“Contest Period”).
1.2 The Organizer may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice to any party (“the Extended Period”). Unless an Extended Period is announced, any entries received after the end of the Contest Period (due to any reason howsoever and/or whatsoever arising) shall be disqualified. Any participation in the Contest during the Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) which shall remain in full force and effect.
Eligibility
2.0 Eligibility
2.1 The Contest is open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above as of 2 May 2017 (“Participants”). Employees and immediate families of the Organizer, its related companies and agencies and appointed distributors are not eligible to participate in this Contest. Participants under the age of 18 years old as of 2 May 2017 must obtain consent of parents or legal guardians and by participating in this Contest, it is deemed that consent has been obtained.
Contest Mechanics
3.0 Contest Mechanics
3.1 This Contest applies for to all Pizza Hut Malaysia outlets (via dine-in or delivery) during the Contest Period:
3.2 Participants are to purchase (via dine-in or delivery only) any ala-carte Large pizza or combo with Large pizza in a single receipt with no minimum purchase and no proof of receipt required. Any Large pizzas that are purchased with the Wow! Take-away promotion is not applicable.
3.3 Participants are required to login to Facebook and record a Facebook Live video of the attempt to finish the Large pizza in 35 bites or less under or within 5 minutes.
3.4 Participants are required to finish the Large pizza alone or with friends.
3.5 Participants are required to upload their Facebook Live video, tag @pizzahutmalaysia and hashtag #35BitesChallenge.
3.5 Participants are to set their video as “Public”.
3.6 Participants are required to count number of bites taken through visual or audio cues. Participants are allowed to send as many video / entries as they want provided always they are all different challenge attempts.
3.7 Upon valid completion of the Contest, winner will be awarded with a free Large pizza voucher. Each Participants is entitled to win only three (3) free large pizza if they took the challenge three (3) times (and qualified) and uploaded all three (3) different videos for different challenge.
3.8 Only one winner per Facebook Live video is allowed. 3.9 Failure to complete the Contest will result in disqualification of attempt(s).
Entry Submissions
4.0 Entry Submissions
4.1 Entries submitted must not allude to or contain, including but not limited to, the following:-
4.1.1 Profanity, obscene, lewd and tempered with
4.1.2 Advertising for other products, services or websites apart from Organizer products; and/or
4.1.3 Copyrighted or trademarked material belonging to a third party
4.2 The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participants that is in breach of Clause 4.1 or any terms and conditions stated herein and/or found or suspected of cheating in the Contest.
4.3 By participating in the Contest, each Participants is deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions contained therein.
Contest Prizes
5.0 Contest Prizes
5.1 The prize (“Prize”) for each Winner shall be one (1) Pizza Hut Malaysia voucher to redeem a Large Beef/Chicken Pepperoni Pan or Hand Stretched Pizza.
5.2 The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes with items of equivalent value without prior notice. All prizes are not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Judging/Winning Criteria
6.0 Judging / Winning Criteria
6.1 In order to win the Contest, the Participants are required to comply with Clause 3 (Contest Mechanics) and other terms and conditions stated herein.
6.2 Subject to Clause 7, the Organizer will notify the Winner(s) during or at the end of the Contest Period, unless otherwise stated by the Organizer.
6.3 The Contest’s winning mechanics to be determined by the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to amend and change the Contest’s winning mechanics at their sole discretion without having to assign any reason whatsoever.
6.4 All of the Organizer’s decisions in connection with this Contest shall be final, conclusive and binding and the Participants agree to abide by the Organizer’s decision with respect to all aspects in connection with this Contest. By participating in this Contest, the participants agree not to challenge and/or object to any decisions made by the Organizer in connection with the Contest.
Announcement of Contest Winner(s) and Prize Collection
7.0 Announcement of Contest Winner(s) and Prize Collection
7.1 Winner(s) will be selected and announced on a weekly basis. The list of winners will be uploaded onto the Contest microsite (www.pizzahut35bites.com.my) and the Organizer Facebook page (@pizzahutmalaysia) every week.
7.2 Winner(s) are required to provide their Full Name, I.C Number, Email Address, Mailing Address and Mobile Number on the Organizer Facebook page via private message.
7.3 If any of the Winner(s) fails to provide their Full name, I.C. Number, Email Address, Mailing Address and Mobile Number five (5) working days after the Winner(s) Announcement, the Organizer reserves the right to forfeit the Prize(s).
7.4 The Organizer, its partners and its sponsor(s) (if any) will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of the notification to the Winner(s). All costs incidental to the redemption and/or usage of the prizes shall be solely borne by the winners.
7.5 The Organizer reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Winner(s) and the Winner(s) agree and authorize that the Organizer may provide all necessary information of the Winner(s) to such third party for the aforesaid purposes.
7.6 All Prizes which are not claimed by the voucher expiration date shall be forfeited. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable in any other form for whatever reason. Winner(s) are solely responsible for the collection of their prize(s).
7.7 All Winner(s) must abide by the terms and conditions of the parties arranging and/or providing for the Prizes and the terms and conditions attached to the Prizes, if any.
7.8 The Organizer makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the Prizes and shall not be responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage there to or arising there from.
7.9 In the event a Winner(s) chooses not to accept a Prize, they will disclaim all rights, interests and claims to that Prize and the Prize will be dealt with according to the sole and absolute discretion of the Organizer.
7.10 All Prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the Winner(s), and the Organizer excludes all liabilities, representation and warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law. Winner(s) shall comply with the terms and conditions of each Prize.
7.11 All brands, names and trademarks associated with or used to describe some of the Prizes are owned by their respective owners. The Organizer and its affiliates are not related to, connected to or associated with these parties in any way.
7.12 The Organizer shall, under no circumstances be responsible and/or liable if any of the winners cannot be contacted. The Organizer further reserves the full right to disqualify any winner if any reasonable attempt to contact them via any medium deemed appropriate by the Organizer has failed for any reason whatsoever.
7.13 Images of Prizes used are for illustration purposes only.
7.14 Prizes must be redeemed in accordance with the mode specified or to be specified by the Organizer, at its sole and absolute discretion, upon notification of any winnings and within a stipulated time period. Failure to adhere to the mode of collection and within the stipulated time period will result in forfeiture of the Prizes and the Winners shall have no claim whatsoever against the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of Organizer, in the event of forfeiture thereof.
Publicity

8.1 Participation in this Contest constitutes an irrevocable permission for the Organizer to use the Participants’ or Winners’ names and photographs for purposes of publicity and advertisement without any compensation, royalty or need for prior notification to the Participants.
Liability
9.0 Liability
9.1 The Winner(s) shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, loss, damage, claim or accident (including death) resulting from their participation in this Contest, redemption and/or usage of the Prizes. The Organizer or its affiliates shall not be responsible for any liability, mishap, loss, damage, claim or accident (including death) in any manner whatsoever.
9.2 All costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in this Contest and to redeem the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the participants.

10.0 Suspension
10.1 The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Contest in the event that it becomes not capable of running as planned, technically interfered or corrupted or any other causes beyond the control of the Organizer, despite the best efforts of the Organizer. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organizer of the Contest shall not entitle the eligible participants to any claim or compensation against Organizer, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the eligible participants as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.

11.0 Organizer’s Rights
11.1 The Organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Contest without prior notice.
11.2 Organizer reserves the right to disqualify, at its sole and absolute discretion, any entries or Participants and/or revoke or forfeit any prizes at any stage of the Contest if:
a. The participant is not an eligible participant(s);
b. The eligibility to win the Contest is on the condition that eligible participants fully comply with the terms and conditions stipulated herein;
c. Entry(ies) are incomplete and/or failure to fulfill all or any of the terms and conditions stipulated herein will automatically be disqualified from the Contest without prior notice;
d. Breach of any of the terms and conditions or other rules and regulations of the Contest or violates any applicable laws or regulations;
e. Organizer has, at its sole discretion, any reason whatsoever to believe that such eligible participants has attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to fraud, cheating or deception.
Intellectual Property

12.1 Unless otherwise stated, the Organizer retains all proprietary rights to the intellectual property used for this Contest and owns the copyright to all contents within.
Miscellaneous
13.1 All rights and privileges herein granted to the Organizer are irrevocable and not subjected to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the eligible participants have the right to seek for injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organization of the Contest, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of the Contest and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Contest.
13.2 All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of managing and operating the Contest and not for any other purposes and Organizer shall manage the personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
13.3 These terms and conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Contest.
13.4 The main language of the terms and conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to any other language than English shall be for convenience only.
13.5 These terms and conditions of the Contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
