MPSJ Subang Jaya SS15 Multi-Storey Car Park Parking Rates
MOTORISTS will be able to use the newly completed multi-level parking complex in SS15, Subang Jaya for free from July 24 to Sept 3.Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) deputy president Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali hoped the multi-level parking complex would address the lack of parking space in the area and resolve congestion in SS15.
“The facility will be open from 7am till midnight and is equipped with 24-hour closed-circuit television cameras which are linked to the MPSJ headquarters.
“We are in the process of reviewing the parking charges to encourage people to utilise the facility,” said Mohd Zulkurnain at the opening of the facility.
The construction of the complex began on May 3, 2016 and was completed on July 8 at a cost of RM11.78mil.
The four-storey complex measuring 62,749sq ft is situated next to the MPSJ multi-purpose hall and the SS15 market.
There are 630 parking bays, comprising 605 inside and 25 outside the complex, including 12 for the disabled and 12 for women.
Subang Jaya assemblyman Hannah Yeoh, who opened the complex, said she hoped the parking rates set would be affordable.
She added that it was also an eco-friendly building as the complex had been fitted with LED lights to save energy while the floor had been painted with materials that are safe and green.
Yeoh said there were plans to convert the rooftop of the complex into an outdoor recreational area which would be suitable as a venue for various activities.
“It would be ideal if this complex could also function as a multi-purpose building,” she added.
